As the lead of a remote design team (located in the Philippines), I had the challenge of addressing an existing product, which was in desperate need of optimization. My primary task initially was to document the entire on-boarding process, and optimize it to expedite bringing a new customer up to date with their accounting.
I led dozens of meetings with sales, marketing, and accounting team members, to create a comprehensive diagram, which could show the entire on-boarding process. When I started the project, the average time to fully on-board a customer and their accounting was 3-6 months. After completing this project, we were able to get customers on-boarded in under 30 days.
After on-boarding optimization was complete, I moved on to document and improve every business process in the company.
